A Letter from Valerie
With a historic 10 VPHR searches underway, the phone ringing non-stop, a robust consulting practice, our #3 employee on maternity leave, three new university grads starting this week, and twin toddlers at home, the traditional newsletter letter from Valerie has temporarily become a wave and a smile. If you miss me, please check out our new website at www.vfandco.com and you can reread your favorite editions of the newsletter from previous years, including when that really dumb CEO asked me if it was OK if he only hired good looking, fit people. Anyone remember my one-word answer?
Please check out our current searches and forward them to anyone who might be looking. You'll see that the searches are spread across all four corners of the US. If you happen to be in San Francisco next week, please come visit us at the HR Star San Francisco conference. We're hosting a luncheon for 200 and will be doing a presentation there on "HR's Greatest Impact At Every Stage of the Corporate Lifecycle." Without having to review Adizes' great work, I can tell you that we, along with most of our clients, are in the Go-Go stage.
Have a great summer,
