Planning Business Names Human Resources Consultants as No. 8 Industry to Watch In 2016

human resources consultants

Quality human resource staffing and executive HR search firms are becoming more and more important in today's business world. In the latest sign that human resources consultants will become even more in demand this coming year, Wise Business Plans placed human resources consultants at number eight on their '10 Industries to Watch in 2016' spotlight initiative, according to a press release from PRweb.com.

In light of the new changes to healthcare laws and requirements, it's become a popular endeavor for employers to rethink overall benefits strategies, according to the Midwest Business Group on Health. As a result, human resources consulting firms have become potentially more important than ever before.

"Employees are among the top assets for absolutely any company," said Joseph Ferriolo, Director at Wise. "These companies are called human resources consultants for a very important reason -- human knowledge, ingenuity and loyalty are valuable and must be carefully managed."

In addition to the changes in healthcare, employers are wise to view hiring and employee retention as crucial parts of their business plan. The average cost for employee turnover can range from 30 to 150% of the employee’s salary. Currently, 57% of organizations view employee retention as a problem.

Some of the most common issues that have resulted in 22% of new hires leaving their job within 45 days of being hired include poor performance and temperament issues. Human resources consultants can help identify, find, and ultimately bring in not only the best talent available, but the kind that will fit the best with your particular business and industry.

You might even have the best product or service on the market too, but not having the right people in the right positions can dramatically affect the potential of your company. In one survey by Vistage, 35% of CEOs of small and midsize businesses reported that staffing is the most significant business issue they currently face, cited twice as frequently as any other issue.

Start the new year off right by ensuring you're making the right moves with the help of human resources consultants.
